Summer Bishil is an American actor who is most well-known for her performance as Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). Summer Bishil gained fame because of her performance in Towelhead as Jasira Marroun an American-Lebanese teenager aged 13 who is thrown in turmoil due to the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq. The film was selected by Variety as one of 10 actors to watch. Crossing Over, a 2009 thriller that focuses on crime, in which she portrayed another strong female role titled Taslima Jangir was selected as one of the Independent Spirit Award nominee for the category of Best Female Lead. She has also acted in movies like Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest TV roles, including being the co-lead of Lucky 7.
